ABOUT

Established in 2020, Guaranta Ltd. offers a comprehensive range of tailored services in the fields of microfluidics, micro-manufacturing, complex system architecture, and prototyping. Our expertise is focused on engineering biotechnology applications for life sciences and healthcare.

Founded by Dr. Nasr Esfahani, Guaranta provides guidance and expertise across the entire spectrum of research, design, testing and manufacturing of integrated microfluidics products.

With a strong background in engineering and a focus on designing and mass manufacturing Lab-on-a-chip devices, Dr. Esfahani brings extensive experience to the table. Throughout his career, he has managed numerous projects, focusing on product development and commercialisation in healthcare and life sciences. After completing his post-doctoral work in designing and developing radiotracers for PET chemistry (dose-on-demand), Dr. Esfahani joined a med-tech start-up in 2014 as a principal engineer. There, he played a key role in developing an integrated microfluidics platform for point-of-care diagnostics. Subsequently, he joined the Francis Crick Institute, where he led engineering developments in next-generation sample preparation for cryo-EM using microfluidics. Dr. Esfahani has several patents and publications in the field, and his passion for scientific innovation and engineering excellence drives his commitment to creating groundbreaking solutions.
